Avie was born in Taipei, Taiwan. Her love for Western culture began with her first English course as a little girl, it became her favorite subject at school. Growing up she developed her own fashion style, one based upon Punk and Grunge subcultures. After graduating from Tamkung University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, she began her first job in fashion as a sales assistant at a garment company in Taipei. At the same time, she became an avid reader of Business of Fashion, and was mesmerized by the stories and business strategies behind the fashion industry.

 

In 2015, Avie moved to San Francisco to begin her studies in the Academy of Art University’s prestigious Graduate Fashion Merchandising program. Avie has made the most of her time as a student at the Academy; working diligently on her classes, as well as taking part in multiple fashion events as a volunteer. After completing her master degree, she moved to Los Angles to pursue her career in fashion, she started working as a PR intern at a Fashion PR Agency called, CARO Marketing. After the internship program, Avie continued staying at the agency as a PR Associate for a year until 2018. 

Avie now works in the marketing department at a prominent cosmetics packaging design company whose clients include Fenty Beauty, Marc Jacobs Beauty, and Morphe. On the side, Avie also works with her clients within different idustries, such as entertainment, hospitality, and Beauty, on multiple projects as the Marketing Director and Consultant to continually expand her portfolio in Marketing and Design.
